We have visited this place at the weekend. Very nice castle with a really picturesque library. We paid 14 Euro entrance for two people, but was worth it!
We were only in the park because there was a wedding in the castle. However, the castle does look very nice and we enjoyed the last rays of sunshine in the park reading and taking a stroll 🏞️ …
It is a cultural site and well-preserved artefact of a forgotten time of kings and queens. The Lions Club is engaged to preserve it, to do necessary works on the inside and outside. We went by motorbike and there is a free parking lot. In May/ June/ July /August, its garden offers a nice stay in the shadow of the trees. The castle is easy to access, unfortunately not via wheelchair. On Sunday, there is a lovely coffee shop for snacks, run by a charity club.
Amazing place and amazing people
Lovely castle grounds and magnificent mysterious English garden park. The castle itself is accessible with tours. Worthwhile.
Small castle. Worth a look if u happen to be around the corner. Went there for a wedding. Well-cared , in middle of a dead boring city . Basically nothing surround it. Parkinglot was odd with the payment. Anyway nothing really special, u wont miss out much if u dont go there lol
Amazing tiny castle with english garden,28 rooms in different styles, including kitchen is available for tour.Lovely made interactive guide-they give you the pad with actors montaged into video your pad is shooting on the moment. Also nice no one follows you,we were alone in whole castle with the pad.It creates mysterious silent atmosphere.I’ve seen a bunch of castles in Saxony and Thuringia and this one definately has its own wibe even if it’s tiny.City around us silent and empty but has a lovely medieval look.
An excellent breakfast at a beautiful location if you don't care about the price.
